Shuby
Shuby is a contemporary artist who started as a street artist in 2007, working primarily with paste ups. Her work is often recognised by her recurring banana motif and combines film, advertising imagery and original elements in silk screen prints on both paper and large textured canvases.
In 2009 Shuby was awarded a live work studio in London’s art collective The Bow Arts Trust where her practice evolved and she began working with and being represented by Jealous Gallery in Shoreditch.
In 2011 she moved to St Leonards where she became a full time practicing artist and in 2013 began working with the Aussi cafe collection and art collectors Daisy Green. Many large works and prints remain on permanent display across London in their venues as well as collaborations on prosecco labels, Radio Lamington cake packaging and take away cups.
Shuby has worked with many galleries and art fairs worldwide. She continues her street art practice and studio work in St Leonards On Sea, being involved with many group shows, community projects and collaborations.
